The Sexy 60's Of Girls Wrestling 2 (Silent)
Ahhhh, the era of color films, sound was just around the corner, but not here. The texture of these entries are exactly the type of shades that Turner used when he started "colorizing" those old TMC movies from the Westerns to the Dramas. The one-piece bathing suits were tighter, snugger and more form fitting to the fanny, upper thighs and cleavages. And notice----BARE LEGS AND THIGHS, NO LONG PANTS OR CLOWN SUITS LIKE YOU ARE SEEING TODAY. Also, notice the "effective" way they cut down on the girls "cheating." In some of the tag team matches, you will see TWO referees---makes for 4 blind eyes that are oblivious to everything, but able to count to three. Perms hit the mainstream. Curling irons and blow dryers replaced steam irons and mangles. Aerosol cans gave way to more refined ways of peroxide blondes---- coloring and dyes. And the girls were all hot, whether from a feminine side, or a cement mixer side, they were still smoking. Lots of tag team matches that go the full three falls. How about one of the first, if not the first, SIX-GIRL TAG TEAM MATCHES. And another lovely black girl debuts on the scene in a tag match as well. However, you will see a disturbing trend developing here. Albeit short-lived, some of the girls started wrestling barefoot. This was disgusting in that it took away one of the major props and accessories of the piece-----boots-----Boots for stomping, kicking, raking the laces across the face and eyes, standing on the hair, etc. Sadly, in today's 07, mainstream markets, 99% of the slop wrestling, whether it be mat or ring, has the girls rolling around in bare feet. This is an epidemic and the consumers don't have a clue how detracting and distracting this truly is. Another sloppy harbinger of things to come are the appearances of tights, panty hose, body stockings and leggings, all of which cover up the bare legs and thighs and leave no room to fantasize about peeking under the suits. However, the hair pulling and yank downs are superb, the denials are wonderful and the facial expressions are second to none. Lots of slugging, punching, kicking and stomping to the belly, so the action is furious. Rather than the girls being portrayed as true warriors and gladiators, they are stereotyped as "barefoot and pregnant, girls from the holler" but today's dot com punks, who permeate the Internet with this slop, haven't a clue that the three EQUAL components of any fantasy are "what you say, what you do and WHAT YOU WEAR." And that means being dressed from head to toe, literally.
