Adult video piracy is a multi-million dollar trade, which robs hard working creative types of the rewards of their work. The video pirate grows fat and rich by stealing original movies and making illegal duplicate knock off copies, then selling them at cut rates. Because the video pirate doesn't have any production costs and uses cheap low-resolution tape, he can flood the market with his bogus products, often selling for less than the real manufacturer. If the real manufacturer can't sell his products, eventually he will be force to cease production of new material. The result is a market filled with poor quality reruns of old material. Sound familiar? in the end the paying customer is the big loser, paying top dollar for low-resolution videotape that is often incomplete or missing key scenes. You see, the video pirate doesn't much care about quality. Money is his only concern. He might just squeeze a 70-minute movie on a 60-minute tape cause it's cheaper. So what, he thinks, who cares, you'll never know... Such is the case with a low life dirt bag named Barry Kelphead. His motis operendi is simple. He latches onto small adult video manufacturers as a legitimate distributor, then pirates them out of existence, taking over their lines as if he made them himself. When financial ruin finally hovers near, Barry saves the desperate manufacturer by borrowing him money at exorbitant interest rates. If he doesn't pay fast enough, Barry kidnaps a family member, usually the manufacture's daughter or wife, as collateral. He's done it lot's of times, and he's doing it again.
