Don't get me wrong: 1 like this picture. It's a cute send-up of the old Abbott and Costello movie, The Time Of Their Lives. You may have seen it on Weekend Comedy Theater. People know their lines, but the timing is constantly off. The reason I'm making such a point of this is that I really wanted to enjoy the feature, and every time the action started, it was great. But when it came to advancing the plot, I wanted to reach for the fast-forward button, and that's a shame. One of the most enjoyable scenes in this one deserves mention: Erica Boyer's dance. Erica plays Gypsy Kay, who Carolyn (Evans) consults in order to help free her trapped grandparents. Erica's costume will definitely increase your pulse rate, and when she and Candie get it on, it'll be a while before you have an urge to get up and get some popcorn.
